For the MotherLand

Flash Version - 2009

My most recent experiment with the Soviet Art style was in my class at Drexel University. In our Scripting for Gaming class, we had 10 weeks to design and program a flash game. I decided to retry this idea I had been playing around with, and try to create a game that appeared even more like a poster. This time around I did custom graphics drawn right in flash and multiplied the entire game with a layer of vintage poster to help give it that worn look. While the game is much shorter than the Game Maker versions, the feeling is much closer to where I would like this idea to end up.

This game differs from the other two in that it is a score-based arcade game where you do not leave the stage that you start on. Enemies come in from the four corners and you use your mouse to shoot them down. After two minutes, a tank comes to challenge your Soviet ingenuity even more. The game is all about how long you can survive as you are a brave Soviet Soldier that is willing to face all odds and even sacrifice yourself For the MotherLand!

This is a flash game that can be played right in your browser with no need to download anything! The Link here is to the Newgrounds page so make sure you vote for my game on the left before leaving. 5 stars would be greatly appreciated.
